If you have an IRC program (I recommend mIRC; you can get it at Tucows), then you can access various Monkees chatrooms on Dalnet. If you have mIRC, all you must do to connect to Dalnet is choose a Dalnet site from the pop-up menu. Otherwise, you would type: /server irc.dal.net and that would put you on a Dalnet server.

From there, you can join a Monkees chatroom. The one I recommend is #Mijacogeo. To join this room, type /join #Mijacogeo . This room is rather quiet sometimes, but if more people come on, it will become more and more fun! The owner of this room, Miki (the vice president of this club), is usually online from 9pm-3am EST (6pm-1am PST) and these are the best times to come into the room. You are more than welcome to come in at any time you'd like, and hopefully others will start coming in and joining in the fun! #Mijacogeo is the official chat room of The Monkees Online Fan Club and the coming-soon Monkees Net.
